For this season, Ysterike takes you on a trip with three themes guiding the way.
Dolls theme harks back to Seventies Brigitte Bardot, St. Tropez, and sun-splashed
holidays in the south of France with flashes of froufrou and bows.
Matelot is French for sailor, and describes the theme that uses nautical style in pieces
featuring piping, double boutonnage, sailor collars, pleats and button loops for a French
Riviera jetset sophistication.
Saut du lit literally means Jump out of Bed, which the collection represents in pyjamainspired
pieces. The garments, in soft sorbets, pastels and powdered hues, transport the
wearer to a world of high-style holidays. The piping accents and cuts complete the easy
elegance. As usual with Ysterike, this collection excels in its attention to detail, quality of
finishing and extraordinary materials employed. Silk, cotton and shiny, fluffy viscose/
nylon blends all feature, as well as Liberty prints and Jacquards that are all-woman.
